Kamilaroi Dust

Under the ochre shies of Kamilaroi country, the land begins to hum with ancient memory. This piece depicts the birthing places of life, growth and regeneration.  These are sacred pillars of renewal, where spirit descends and new stories begin. Around them the yellow and black meeting places represent the gathering of ancestors, elders, women and man who share stories, songs and healing through time. The flowing lines represent rivers of knowledge and veins of connection. And below the circular forms ground the story, they hold spirit and kin.
